Forging a path as an entrepreneur is not always easy, and it seems that only a select few are born to do it.  Ross Freedmen is one of these people.

Freedman is the co-founder of Rightpoint, an award-winning digital consultancy based in Chicago. It has over 800 employees globally. 

Freedman finished his bachelor's degree in business and computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he met his college friend Brad Schneider. The two business & computer science majors became lifelong friends and business partners. 

Before starting their own firm, Freedman worked as a software engineer at Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting division, specializing in the Microsoft and Java platforms. After leaving Andersen, he co-founded Wired Matrix alongside Schneider, which later merged with West Monroe Partners.  

Ross is now a board member at Rightpoint as well as a board member of the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship's Board of Advisors at the Wisconsin School of Business. The Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison prepares students to succeed in any business setting.
