It seems like a crowded space, but we like 3 of the main inventory management software in market and call out their strengths and weaknesses below.

We review 3 of the top inventory management software solutions in the market. Rankings are based on user reviews, product features, user experience, implementation, and price.

But they are very different in their approach and pricing also differs.

1) AGILIRON – premiere plan starts at $99 per month including 1 user log-ins and 2 sales channel

2) Netsuite – Base prices for a license start from $999 p/month

3) Skubana – depends on your requirements but starts at approximately $1000 p/month.

Let’s take each in turn:

The basic functions common to all brick and mortar speciality product wholesalers is really robust and often overlooked. Essentially we can perform all sales, quotes, CRM and inventory functions in one simple system with one login. It really doesn’t matter if we are in the office or out, this web based SaaS lets all of our staff perform all of these functions with equal ability on a desktop in the office or an iPad in the field. We can do more, with less and appear a lot more knowledgeable to our customers.

The Agiliron solution will allow franchisees to operate their businesses more efficiently and profitably, leaving more time to work with clients, focus on customer service and grow the business. We chose Agiliron for its customizability and adaptability to support our complete business process - from the Bride's first appointment to Bridesmaid online ordering to auto generation of POs for Designers to automation of notifications to integration with QuickBooks.

NetSuite is, simply put, HUGE. It is the #1 enterprise software in the world and with size comes complexity. There are plenty of businesses of all sizes that love Netsuite, and plenty that don’t. Netsuite are a cloud ERP solution, providing a suite of applications, from accounting and financial planning, to warehouse management, ecommerce, inventory management.

One thing about NetSuite is engineered to scale with businesses as you grow and to streamline mission-critical processes.

3. Skubana

Skubana – Skubana starts from $1000 per month, you’ll need to confirm costs after speaking with their sales consultant

Skubana suits small and large businesses, and businesses at any stage of growth. They are described as multichannel brands and high-volume marketplace sellers. They are a cloud platform that boosts (their words, not mine) that they “minimize storage costs, dead stock, stockouts, balances your inventory turnover ratio, and frees up capital”. Skubana suit multichannel brands and does a good job of establishing a holistic view of your sales data, fulfillment data, and automated supply chain management across most channels.

Our Conclusion

They all have pros and cons. AGILIRON has everything you need to streamline your operations, they have a multi-channel commerce software solution that helps product-based businesses more efficiently integrate their sales channels. Netsuite is a good second choice and is amazing, but it’s a lot to implement, operate, and its price can be prohibitively expensive. Finally, Skubana is on our last spot due to their higher plan pricing although they have grown into a leader in marketing automation.
